Refund policy
Made-to-Order Garments
Each 4NML made-to-order garment is produced specifically for you.
For this reason, all made-to-order items are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange, except where 4NML determines that the item contains a verified production defect or order fulfillment error.
This policy allows us to produce responsibly, avoid overproduction, and maintain the integrity of our materials and craftsmanship.
Because made-to-order garments are produced individually, customers are responsible for reviewing the measuring guide and providing accurate measurements when requested. Please take your measurements carefully before placing an order.
If a made-to-order item does not fit as expected, 4NML may, at its discretion, offer alteration guidance or alteration support on a case-by-case basis. Alterations are not guaranteed and do not make made-to-order items eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
Eligible Non-Made-to-Order Items
Certain non-made-to-order items, when explicitly marked as eligible on the product page, such as select hats or accessories, may be returned within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be:
- Unworn, unused, and unwashed
- In original condition with all tags attached
- Returned in original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase

Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted. If approved, return instructions will be provided.
Damages, Defects & Order Errors
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If you believe your item contains a production defect, was damaged in transit, or does not match your order, contact hello@4nml.com within 48 hours of delivery.
Your message must include:
- Clear photos of the item
- Clear photos of the packaging
- A description of the issue
- Your order number
All claims are reviewed by 4NML. Submitting a claim does not guarantee a return, refund, replacement, alteration, or repair.
Items that show signs of wear, washing, use, customer-caused damage, improper care, incorrect measurements, or alteration by anyone other than 4NML are not eligible for return or refund.
If 4NML determines that an issue is due to a verified production defect, carrier damage, or fulfillment error, we may offer, at our discretion, a repair, alteration, replacement, store credit, refund, or assistance with a carrier claim, depending on the circumstances.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return:
- Made-to-order garments
- Custom-produced items
- Worn, washed, or altered items
- Items missing original tags or packaging
- Sale items
- Gift cards
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If an item is eligible for return and your return is approved, you may place a new order separately.
Made-to-order items are not eligible for exchange. If fit support is needed, alteration support may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
European Union Customers
In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, customers located in the European Union have the right to cancel or return non-custom, non-made-to-order items within 14 days of delivery, without providing a reason.
This right does not apply to made-to-order, customized, or custom-produced items, which are exempt under EU regulations.
Eligible items must be returned:
- Unworn and unused
- With original tags and packaging
- With proof of purchase
Refunds (When Applicable)
If a return is approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after inspection.
